The Road to Success.....

Is it not what we all are dreaming of? Being a Success! We want to be successful in school, in our jobs, in our relationships। In fact, we dream about being successful in everything. But what a challenge this is!

Most of the people believe that they just can't achieve great success because they don't have what it takes, or because they're not educated enough! They complain that luck is never on their side or that they weren't born to be successful, or even that they are too poor to ever even think about being something else!

You know what? You don't need luck or any diploma to accomplish the success you deserve.
You just need faith। Faith that you will indeed be successful, faith that you have all that it takes to make it to the top! You have to BELIEVE that YOU ARE the most successful person you ever met.

If you don't believe in yourself, who on earth do you think will?
The most successful persons in the world (businessmen (women), signers, physicians, etc।) all have that point in common: They all believed firmly that they were going to be exactly what they expected to be. They never doubted themselves, they had faith in their potentials and they were absolutely convinced that they would make it to the top! They never accepted a No for an answer. Nothing as ever stopped them, slowed down maybe, but never stopped!

Well that is very neat on paper, but I can hear you tell me: "It's easier said than done! How can I have faith in myself, when all that I have done so far hasn't brought me the success I am dreaming of? Everything that I'm trying ends up in a mess! Oh, I have attained some results of course, but I want more than that!" And that could go on and on...

There is a lot of things that ANYBODY can do to become a success in any field they choose: relationships, business, career, anything you can think of!

First, you have to understand that you will need to make an effort, not necessarily a huge one, but let's put it that way: you will definitely need consistence in your doings।

With anything that you're trying to attain if you don't give consistent efforts, you'll just simply NEVER get what you expect। The main point is to believe that YOU CAN be successful, and YOU WILL indeed.

One good method I am using for years now is Affirmation. And that doesn‚t really take a great deal of an effort to do. Simply keep repeating to your self some sentences like these ones:
- I am a successful person। - I can attain any success level I desire. - I will be rich because I deserve it! - Etc.

There are some rules that have to be followed when using the Affirmation Method.
Never use any negative form in you sentences (i।e.: I will not fail in anything anymore. It's better to use: I will succeed in everything I'm undertaking from now on.) And trust me, affirmations really works! So if you affirm anything negative, this is what you'll get! So be aware of it, and very careful in your affirmations.

You also have to be repetitive। Repeat at least 10 to 20 times each affirmation every day, for several days. What I like to do when I have a goal to attain is to pick up 2 or 3 sentences that make sense to me. Then I write them down 10 times each, and I repeat the process for at least 7 days in a row.

Remember, consistency!!! You can even go further and do it for 2 to 3 weeks in a row. The longer you do it, the better results you'll get.
You will be surprised on how effective that simple and easy method is। Few years ago I started with affirmations to help me care about my self. Yeah! I was like that! A person that didn't like herself enough to believe that she could do anything good. Well that simple method had simply change my life for the better! Now I am happy with myself, my life with my family and friends is fill with joy and happiness, I run a successful business in Graphic Arts and I do have a great success with my spare time e-businesses.

So, let me tell you that this method can really change your life too if you only give it a try! I went from living in a stressful mood all the time, never expecting anything good could ever happen to me, to being loaded with confidence in my possibilities and chances of being successful in all the aspects of my life! And still sometimes when something doesn't go the way I want it, I grab my pen and start writing positive affirmations। And back on the good track I am!

So pick up your pen, and start climbing the road to success!

STORY -1

Once there was a flood in a village. People were atop their roofs for safety. One of the men was constantly praying to God. He was deeply religious and a god- fearing man. Water level was rising steadily. Along came one boat, others asked him to climb onto it to save himself. He refused. He said, “No, I will be saved by my God.” The boat left. After a while came another boat and again people insisted. He replied in the same vein.

The water level went up to the roofs finally. Then came a helicopter, and a rope was thrown to him asking to get in the helicopter. Again, the same answer. In a short while the man was up to his neck in water, and eventually died.
He reached heaven and bursting with anger, asked God why He didn’t come to his rescue, when he was an ardent devotee. God replied, “Foolish fellow, the rescue teams in the boat and the helicopter were sent by me. But it was you who did not want to save yourself. How can I do anything about it? I gave you three options, but you declined them yourself.”

THE MESSAGE

In this world we will, of course, have to face difficulties and problems, we do pray to God during those times, but we have to continue working hard. People who blame their luck for their misfortune or spill it on God will forever remain where they are, since God too loves those who work unceasingly and do not sit idle.



STORY – 2

Four blind men once visited the king. The king gifted them an elephant and asked them to describe what they sensed. The blind man standing near the tail thought the elephant to resemble a rope. The one near the leg felt the animal to be a tree trunk. The person standing near the trunk thought it to be a snake, and for the one facing his stomach, the mammal was like a thick wall. This being said, a heated argument broke out amongst the four of them.

MESSAGE

The moral is that everybody ultimately experiences the world the way he/she thinks of it. What may be wrong for one person could be just the ultimate for another. One person’s manna dew is another man’s poison! The depth of our understanding totally depends on our way of thinking and experiences. We tend to press forward an argument, however hollow it may be. There can be drastically different opinions of people on the same topic, and everyone goes around ranting one’s own philosophy.



STORY – 3

Melanie wanted to be a dancer from the very beginning. She was a gifted artist. She could dance for hours on music. Seeing this, her parents decided to make her a ballet dancer. Those days there was a big dance troupe in town. Her parents took her to the chief of the ballet group and requested him to train her. He asked her to perform. She did that. Instead of paying any attention, he didn’t even bother to look at her. He was busy with his own work. After her performance, he admonished her, saying that she neither had the talent nor the inclination. It would be better if she gave up the idea of pursuing a career in that field and should opt for another career.
Melanie was heart- broken. She felt her world coming to an end. She followed the dance master’s advice and gave up dancing—her only passion. She joined as a teacher in a school. She had been working there for five years now. Once it so happened that the dance master was away for a while. Melanie was asked to supervise the children. She was teaching them dancing when suddenly the dance teacher reached there. She was stunned to see her talent. She encouraged her and praised her immensely. She told her that she danced superbly. Melanie was stunned to hear that. She couldn’t believe her ears. She was taken to the dance teacher and the world then witnessed one of its most exotic dancers in her.

So, we see how one pessimistic, negative minded teacher could curb Melanie’s talent for 15 years, whereas the other one shaped her into a true artist.

MESSAGE

Do you want some such person to demolish your aspirations and hopes and dreams? Do not surrender yourself to any such person who can turn you into a frustrated creature and pull you down.




STORY – 4

Three engineers worked in a foreign land. For some reason the king of that place was displeased with them and punished them a death sentence. They pleaded and begged before the king. He wouldn’t retrace the decision, rather told them that God willing, they could be saved. In his kingdom, they could chop off the neck of the prisoner by some machine. On the day of execution, an old man who pitied them, advised them saying not to utter a single word there. Remain mum. Those engineers agreed to that. The first one was taken to the guillotine. Somehow the gadget failed to work properly and the engineer was saved. It was the turn of the second engineer—same thing happened and he too, escaped the death-knell.
Now, the third one was intently watching all this. He forgot what he had promised to that old man, about keeping quiet. The moment he was put there, he jumped saying that what you are voicing as God’s sweet will, is nothing but a technical defect in the apparatus. He pointed out the flaw and the executioner easily did the job--- he was killed.

MESSAGE


This principle advocates that whenever a situation is heated up, there is a controversy, any argument getting out of hand, your boss/husband/wife—anybody in a fuming rage, a single word from you would add fuel to the fire. So best would be—TO REMAIN QUIET.
After an argument, if the other person finds out that you were correct, even then you never retaliated, listened patiently—he would be thoroughly ashamed and embarrassed. He would certainly repent while your prestige would increase manifolds.






STORY – 5


Lord Ram was building a bridge before attacking Lanka. One squirrel would roll on and off the banks and bring sand on its body. It would dump the sand clinging on its body on to the heap already there. The monkeys, Lord Rama’s sentinels, and soldiers described this incident to him. He went to the squirrel and asked why she was doing that. The reply was, “To win over Lanka!”

The Lord said, “What will these miniscule grains of sand do by way of help?”
The squirrel replied, “I beg your forgiveness, lord, the grains of sand are enough or less, I cannot fathom that, but all I know is that I’m trying my level best to contribute, pulling up all my energies.” This overwhelmed Rama. He lovingly patted her back. It is said that the stripes on a squirrel’s body are the fingerprints of Lord Rama.


MESSAGE


It doesn’t matter whether the assignment is big or small. What matters is whether you do it with total surrender and enthusiasm or not. If you are eager, you have that zeal and you are enthusiastic then no one can stop you. Zealous people right from childhood to old age keep striving and achieving admirable feats.

The Woman

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day

An angel came by and said: “Why spend so much time on that one?”

And the Lord answered:

“Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her ?"

“She must be washable, but not made of plastic, have more than 200 moving parts which all must be replaceable and she must function on all kinds of food, she must be able to embrace several kids at the same time, give a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart and she must do all this with only two hands”.

The angel was impressed.

“Just two hands....impossible!“

And this is the standard model?!

“Too much work for one day....wait until tomorrow and then complete her“.

“I will not”, said the Lord. “I am so close to complete this creation, which will be the favourite of my heart”.

“She cures herself when sick and she can work 18 hours a day”.

The angel came nearer and touched the woman.

“But you have made her so soft, Lord”

“She is soft", said the Lord, “But I have also made her strong. You can’t imagine what she can endure and overcome.“

“Can she think?" the angel asked.

The Lord answered:

“Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate."

The angel touched the womans cheek....

“Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her.”

“She is not leaking....it’s a tear” the lord corrected the angel

“What’s it for?" asked the angel.

And the Lord said:

“Tears are her way of expressing grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.”

This made a big impression on the angel; “Lord, you are genius.

You thought of everything. The woman is indeed marvellous!"

Indeed she is!

Woman has strengths that amazes man. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love and opinions.

She smiles when feeling like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying, crys when she is happy and laughs when she is afraid.

She fights for what she belives in.

Stand up against injustice.

She doesn’t take “no” for an answer, when she can see a better solution. She gives herself so her family can thrive. She takes her friend to the doctor if she is afraid.

Her love is unconditional.

She cries when her kids are victorious. She is happy when her friends do well.

She is glad when she hears of a birth or a wedding.

Her heart is broken when a next of kin or friend dies.

But she finds the strength to get on with life.

She knows that a kiss and a hug can heal a broken heart.

There is only one thing wrong with her

She forgets what she is worth...
